GCG GTX6662RX bolt-on Stage 1 turbo upgrade

Suits: Audi TT RS, RS3 (2015-20)
Engine: 2.5L DAZA

This custom built GCG6662RX has been designed to bolt into the stock turbocharger location on the Audi TT RS, TT RS Coupe and RS3 with 2.5L DAZA engine. The turbocharger retains the factory 5 cylinder turbine housing manifold, and also retains the factory compressor housing design, to allow this turbocharger to bolt directly back onto the vehicle. Custom oil and water lines will be required, as the new core used has different thread adaptation.

The factory BorgWarner turbocharger on these vehicles works extremely well in a mildy tuned application, and is known for it's response and overall flow potential. However, once higher boost levels are required, it starts to run out of efficiency. This is where the custom GCG6662RX comes into play. The ball bearing CHRA provides more power throughout the rev range, and utilizes a billet 11-0 blade compressor wheel, which is a larger diameter than the factory turbocharger. The Turbine is a GT35R Series variant.

Product Notes:
This particular turbo combination is for those wanting more top end power than low down response. Test vehicle used showed full boost (30psi) at approx 4500rpm.

To get the most out of your TDX turbo, we recommend upgrading supporting components, such as a higher flowing exhaust, intercooler, hot and cold side piping and air inlet piping/airbox. We also recommend having your vehicle tuned to meet safe EGT and lambda readings.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by excessive boost or overspeed. Should the turbocharger fail, and the assessment shows signs of overspeed or excessive boost pressure, the warranty will be void.
